EUCEB certification is a well-trusted and robust scheme to verify that certified mineral wool is not classified as carcinogenic and is safe to use. Certificate holders submit themselves voluntarily to a combination of continuous autocontrol and third-party testing which is supervised by the independent certification body BCCA. They spend considerable resources to obtain and hold their certificates. Unfortunately, there have been a few cases where companies used forged EUCEB certificates to confirm compliance, although they had never applied for or received certification.
The validity of EUCEB certificates can be checked easily. All valid EUCEB certificates and their holders are listed on BCCA´s website, see https://www.bcca.be/en/search?type=certificatiesystemen&certcode=BEUC&family=511. If you suspect a forgery, please inform us so that we can investigate further.
